Unemployment Rate Up to 9%

So says the BLS.  The above graph shows the male employment/population ratio, age 25-54, which ticked down two tenths of a percent.

Here's the same thing for women, which also ticked down:

This adds to the sense of wobbliness in the US economic recovery.
